DAVIE– The Dolphins‘ offensive line has been under siege lately, but should be getting steadier with Branden Albert and Laremy Tunsil recovering from their injuries.
Albert is the more necessary piece of those two. Miami needs him back to full strength as soon as possible. Here’s a look at his matchup in Sunday’s game against Arizona:
Miami Dolphins LT Branden Albert
6-foot-5, 314 pounds
Virginia, ninth season
Scouting Notes: The Dolphins haven’t looked right since Albert dislocated his left wrist in the San Diego game. That followed with Mike Pouncey and Laremy Tunsil exiting as well. Albert returned last last weekend at Baltimore, but couldn’t play to his usual level because of the injury. This game presents a tougher test because Chandler Jones is a younger, more athletic pass rusher than Terrell Suggs. Here’s what Albert said about how he’s playing right now.
Arizona Cardinals OLB Chandler Jones
6-foot-5, 247 pounds
Syracuse, fifth season
Scouting Notes: Coming off a 12-sack season last year, Jones has eight this year. That puts him just behind Cameron Wake. Not only is he a problem under normal circumstances, but after watching film all week he’ll know exactly how to attack Albert’s injury. Take a look at his highlight reel:
