Here is some of what offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said Thursday:

• Pittsburgh will get their extra guy in the box. We have to run better than last week. There will be few surprises.

• Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier hits like a ton of bricks and runs really well. He’s a free-lancer, hard to predict. You hope you can get him out of position.

• Matt Moore has been told he is our starter. The other deal is on the side. Ryan Tannehill was not ready to go. Moore knows he is our relief pitcher. But it was important to get him prepared. Unless Ryan had a miraculous recovery, he knew he was the guy.

• You don’t have to do something different in the playoffs. Just do what you do to win a football game. You don’t run faster and jump higher. Just take care of business.

• Laremy Tunsil has kept improving and is playing at a good solid starter level. There is nobody that would say he’s not out of position, but has held his own in there. He keeps improving. Maybe three plays that jump out at you that was a surprise. Really good solid starting and even better in pass protection. Very gifted in pass protection.

• Kraig Urbik has been solid at center. He has stabilized us a bit in there. Good and solid. Mike Pouncey runs so fast. Urbik can try hard but probably will never run as fast as Pouncey.

• Two hundred yard rushing games are freaky and outliers. The expectations can get out of whack. But in the games in which Miami did it, Jay Ajayi broke tackles and took advantage of smashing through eight-man fronts.

• Doing a research project on ways to use Jakeem Grant, maybe in the backfield, is really an offseason deal.
