Though Miami Dolphins fans finally have a horse in this season’s playoff race, 20 other fan bases will be looking to adopt a team for the NFL’s annual postseason tournament.

Sports Illustrated took a look at which playoff teams’ fan bases are the perfect combination of long-suffering and tolerable, in hopes of helping displaced fans find a bandwagon to jump on. The Dolphins received one of the most favorable reviews, ranking well on an evaluation scale that ranges from annoying to insufferable.

Miami was placed as the second-least-insufferable fan base, with Sports Illustrated citing “still griping about Dan Marino not winning a Super Bowl” as their only knock.

The Dolphins also rank among the four most long-suffering teams in the playoffs this season, joining the Raiders, Lions and Texans. SI noted that Miami has only won one division title since 2001, often running into the New England Patriots and their divisional dominance.

Sports Illustrated also lists the Raiders as the clear favorite for bandwagon fans, while the Patriots sit atop the list as both the most successful and most “insufferable” franchise.
