DAVIE — Miami Dolphins cornerback Byron Maxwell, who has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury, was not dressed for practice on Friday.
Maxwell had not practiced all week. He worked with a trainer.
No Miami Dolphin has more playoff experience than Maxwell, who won a Super Bowl with Seattle.
If Maxwell can’t go or is limited, rookie Xavien Howard and second-year player Tony Lippett would draw the assignment of handling Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown.

Linebacker Jelani Jenkins (knee) was dressed for practice and appears likely to go. In the first meeting, Jenkins did a nice job covering Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell out of the backfield.
