As has become customary whenever a violent hit occurs in the NFL or a posterizing dunk takes place in basketball, Internet users took to Wikipedia to jokingly update the page of Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore.

After Moore took a vicious hit while scrambling out of the pocket during Miami’s AFC wild-card playoff game on Sunday in Pittsburgh, his page was altered to show that the hit killed him. The editors even took the time to classify that Moore died “by [Steelers linebacker] Bud Dupree” under the personal information section of the page.

In addition to announcing his mock death, the language on Moore’s Wikipedia page was changed to the past tense.

Shockingly, despite being temporarily knocked out of the game by the hit, Moore was able to return to just one play later. As you may have noticed in the first tweet, his quick return earned him a new nickname on his Wikipedia page.

Sadly, the page has since been returned to its original form.
