Which former Miami Dolphins players should you root for this Sunday?

It may be hard to bring yourself to root for the New England Patriots in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. But unless you are a very big fan of Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, twin brother of Dolphins center Mike Pouncey, there are more player connections (three) to the Patriots.

And if you’re not a fan of Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers, you’re in luck. Perhaps you’d like to root for one of the former Dolphins (three) on the Atlanta Falcons roster for Sunday’s NFL Championship Game. And if you fondly remember Falcons head coach Dan Quinn (Dolphins defensive line coach 2005-06) or Falcons defensive line coach Bryan Cox (player, 1991-95) all the more reason to wear red.

By the way, if you are a diehard Dolphins fan and you know what Bene Benwikere looks like, don’t be confused if you see him on the Packers sideline on Sunday. He’s recently left Miami and signed with the Packers’ practice squad.

And, of course, there are always plenty of former Hurricanes on NFL Sundays.

As for which NFL teams have a few familiar faces…
