The Patriots are widely thought of as the NFL team with the loosest ethics, but that reputation might be unfair.

The website Your Team Cheats defines itself as the ultimate authority on this subject and tabulates “Cheatscores” for every team. In the all-time standings, the Dolphins are No. 9 and well ahead of 17th-ranked New England.

Here is their top 10:

1. Denver Broncos
2. New York Jets
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
4. Indianapolis Colts
5. New York Giants
6. San Francisco 49ers
7. Baltimore Ravens
8. Oakland Raiders
9. Miami Dolphins
10. Washington Redskins

Your Team Cheats uses an organization’s full cheating history to come up with its ratings.

Miami’s Cheatscore, for example, is 31. It received six of those points for tampering offenses in the 1970 hiring of Don Shula. The Dolphins lost a first-round pick for that violation.

For comparison, the Patriots received just five points for Spygate and none for Deflategate. Click here for the full rankings at Your Team Cheats.
