Life isn’t easy in the AFC East, not when the five-time champion Patriots keep reloading.
Not that Miami would ever be in the mix on this one, but it will probably irritate Dolphins fans to hear that seven-time Pro Bowl selection Adrian Peterson is meeting with New England on Monday, according to an ESPN report.
It’s hard to tell whether Peterson, 32, is at the end of his productive years. He was suspended for all but one game in 2014 and played just three games last year due to knee injuries. However, he was dominant in 2015 with 1,485 yards and 11 touchdowns on 327 carries.
The Patriots appear to be letting go of LeGarrette Blount, who rushed for 1,161 yards and 18 touchdowns last year and currently is a free agent.
