The Dolphins‘ surprise playoff berth last year is already paying off in ticket sales.
With the 2017 opener still five months away, president Tom Garfinkel is seeing increased interest.
“I think everything is positive,” he said last week. “Renewals have been very positive, well ahead of last year at this time. New season ticket deposits. that we just started taking, have been positive, so we expect to be up to start the season from where we were last year in season tickets. And we expect to sell out every game. Things have been real positive.”
Team owner Stephen Ross was equally upbeat.
“I think the totality of our organization and how it’s viewed as a sports organization and the things we’re doing, it’s great for Miami and I think it’s becoming the envy of most cities,” he said.
