Miami Dolphins’ most popular? WR Jarvis Landry among NFL leaders in sales

Move over, Ryan Tannehill. There’s a new leader in town.

Receiver Jarvis Landry has supplanted his quarterback as the Dolphins’ leader in jersey and other merchandise sales, according to the NFL Players Association.

The NFLPA released its list of the NFL’s top 50 in merchandise sales, and Landry is the only Dolphin, checking in at No. 42.

You might not guess the leader: Ezekiel Elliott, who just finished his rookie season as a running back for Dallas. And second is his QB, Dak Prescott, with Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant coming in fourth.

Interrupting that run of Cowboys is Patriots QB Tom Brady, who dropped from first last year to third.

Rounding out the top 10 are Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr., Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, Eagles QB Carson Wentz, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski and Panthers QB Cam Newton.

Beckham was the leader in Fatheads, in case you were wondering.

The rankings, covering March 1, 2016, to Feb. 28, 2017, include licensed products such as jerseys and T-shirts, wall decals, figurines, toys, photos, bobbleheads and more.

(The NFLPA did not release rankings beyond No. 50, so it’s not known who the most popular Dolphins are behind Landry.)
