DAVIE — The Miami Dolphins opened training camp Thursday with center Mike Pouncey (hip) and safety Reshad Jones (undisclosed) on the sidelines, working with trainers.
All the healthy players listed on Miami’s roster were accounted for, including wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who is seeking a contract extension.
Pouncey was seen working with a medicine ball. He has been cleared to do some football activity but the team plans to ease him back very cautiously, as head coach Adam Gase has repeatedly said.
Jones appeared to be moving well and seemed focused on lower-body stretching.
The Dolphins practice was open to the public and the team added two large video screens in each end zone to help fans see action on the far side of the field.
