DAVIE—The Dolphins are back in full pads for the second time this summer, so this morning’s practice should be one of the more intense sessions so far.

Some key players are not on the field. Running back Jay Ajayi remains out with a concussion, missing his second straight practice, and the team is holding Mike Pouncey out as part of his maintenance program.

Pouncey has practiced twice since camp opened a week ago and has yet to do full 11-on-11 work.

Here are some other updates:

— Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh were back to work today after getting a veteran’s day off Wednesday.

— The team continues to test out newly signed receiver Jordan Westerkamp, an undrafted rookie, as a punt returner.
