DAVIE — From Laguna Beach to Miami Beach.
Kristin Cavallari is all in.
The newest quarterback of the Miami Dolphins revealed that it was his wife, the former reality TV star, who actually pushed him out of retirement the most.
“I think she got tired of me around the house,” said Cutler, who was living with his wife in Nashville. “It was a little different. I think she say it from a different lens. And saw what type of opportunity this was. And she was all for it.”
Cutler’s decision was made easier because of his relationship with Coach Adam Gase.
“It was kind of like a recruiting experience there for a little bit,” Cutler said. “But I mean he gave me space too. He gave me his spiel and I talked to some other people I’m close to he gave me a lot of space to kind of decide what I want to decide.”
In the end, though, it was Cavallari who made the difference.
“It was hard,” Cutler said. “It was hard. It was definitely hard. The last four months I’ve been in a different mode, different mind-set getting ready for the FOX deal. I was really pretty good with where I was in my life. I was around the kids a lot and felt pretty content. Weighed back and forth on this. I’d probably say my wife Kristine probably talked me into it more than anybody else could.”
Cavallari took to Instagram to celebrate Cutler’s newest contract:
