MIAMI GARDENS–Few potential Dolphins starters were going to be watched as closely as rookie linebacker Raekwon McMillan in tonight’s preseason opener, but he’s unlikely to get much of a look.

McMillan went down on punt coverage at the end of Miami’s opening series against the Falcons and stayed on the turf for a couple minutes before being taken to the sideline for further examination. The training staff was looking at his right knee before taking him back to the locker room.

Officially, the Dolphins are listing him as questionable to return.

McMillan was the team’s second-round pick this season and is arguably its most important rookie. He is expected to be in the mix for a starting job.
