The Miami Dolphins released offensive lineman Kraig Urbik with an injury settlement on Saturday.
Urbik played in all 16 games with six starts last season.
After an injury to starting guard Ted Larsen, it seemed Urbik would have been in line to start.
But Urbik had a back injury and a knee injury that required a procedure.
Urbik would not be allowed to agree to a new NFL deal until after Week 4.
