OXNARD, Calif. — Cancel the fire alarm.

Running back Jay Ajayi popped up on the injury report this week with a knee problem but told The Post on Friday that it won’t affect him in Sunday’s season-opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.

“I’m good,” Ajayi said. “I’ve been practicing all week. Yeah, feeling good, ready to play in the game.”

Asked if he sensed he would have any restrictions against the Chargers, Ajayi said, “No. I’ve been practicing all week and I’m excited for San Diego. … Or not San Diego. L.A.”

Ajayi was listed on the injury report despite fully participating in practice and, when the final injury report came out Friday, the Dolphins were so certain he’d play they didn’t even list him as questionable, which is the most positive sign they could offer.
