MIAMI GARDENS — The last thing the Dolphins need is another hurdle to climb on offense.

We’ll know Monday whether that’s exactly the case.

Receiver DeVante Parker left the locker room after Sunday’s game with his right ankle heavily wrapped, possibly in a cast.

Asked if he was in pain, Parker said, “No. I’m good. I ain’t talkin’.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Dolphins believe it’s just a sprain.

Parker left early in Sunday’s 16-10 victory over Tennessee with one catch for 6 yards.

“When you lose a guy like that, it’s always going to hurt,” quarterback Jay Cutler said. “When you lose anybody – any of the starters – it’s tough, but that’s the NFL. It happens week in and week out. Guys have to step in and guys have to make plays.”

In this case Jakeem Grant saw more playing time on offense but finished with two targets and one catch for a 1-yard loss. Grant had a chance to play the hero but could not hang onto a 23-yard pass from Cutler at the goal line in the first quarter.

“I’ll know more tomorrow,” coach Adam Gase said. “But obviously him not coming back into the game…we’ll see what it’s going to turn out to (be) next week.”
