DAVIE — Miami Dolphins captain Michael Thomas knows that the Ryan Tannehill injury, Hurricane Irma, AWOL Lawrence Timmons and now the resignation of offensive line coach Chris Foerster has resulted in an unusually high number of issues.
“We deal with a lot over here,” Thomas said Monday. “So come Wednesday, it’s just going to be about preparing for that win.”
Thomas said he found out about Foerster’s snorting video on social media and learned more in a team meeting Monday.
Coach Adam Gase addressed the issue.
“Obviously he’s going to get help,” Thomas said of Gase’s message about Foerster. “I don’t know too much about it. It’s crazy but I’m praying for him.”
Thomas is convinced the Dolphins can work through any and all issues.
“It’s life,” Thomas said. “Control what you can control. For us it’s just getting back to work. I’m glad we got the W and regardless of everything that’s happened around here it’s all about work. That’s it.”
