MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil left Sunday’s game against the Jets with a knee injury.
Tunsil was replaced by Jesse Davis, who had briefly replaced Ja’Wuan James earlier in the game.
With Davis in the game as opposed to Tunsil, it was a disadvantage for backup quarterback Matt Moore, in the game for Jay Cutler, who also left in the third quarter with a chest injury.
Tunsil could be seen riding an exercise bicycle during the third quarter.
Dolphins starting defensive end Andre Branch also left the game in the third quarter with a groin injury.
Branch had sustained a knee injury in last Sunday’s game.
Without Branch, Miami would have William Hayes and Charles Harris available for additional snaps.
