Miami Dolphins practice report: Who’s in/out as Buccaneers game nears?

DAVIE—The Dolphins are working with a short week as they prepare for the Tampa Bay game on Sunday. Part of that was by their own choice since coach Adam Gase gave players the day off Wednesday.

That makes today the first—and basically only—practice of the week. Friday practices are typically closer to a walk-through, and Saturday actually is a walk-through. With Miami on the field for the first time, here are some personnel notes:

–Wide receiver Kenny Stills left the field with a trainer early in practice. The staff appeared to be checking his knee and back before he exited.

–Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (knee) was not at practice during the portion open to the media.

–The offensive line from last week remains intact with Jesse Davis at right tackle and Ted Larsen at left guard.

–Running back Damien Williams and return man Jakeem Grant, both of whom were ill, practiced and appeared to be full strength.

–Safety Michael Thomas, was limited to special teams against Carolina because of a knee injury, looked like he was full-go in today’s practice.
