DAVIE — Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills went down with a back injury in Thurday’s practice.
Stills did not practice on Friday, but he indicated to reporters he expects to play. Still was officially listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
If Stills has any setback, Leonte Carroo or Jakeem Grant would be Miami’s third receiver on Sunday against Tampa Bay.
One option for coach Adam Gase, if Stills is unavailable, is to use more two- and three-tight end sets, perhaps including MarQuies Gray, who warrants increased reps.
This could also mean more targets for DeVante Parker.
Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (knee) returned to practice for the first time this week.
Cornerback Bobby McCain (thigh) and safety Michael Thomas (knee) participated in special teams walkthrough, after being limited in practice earlier this week.
