DAVIE — Following a 35-17 road loss to the New England Patriots, the Miami Dolphins are 4-7 and have lost five straight games. They are tied with the New York Jets for last place in the AFC East.
Here’s what head coach Adam Gase had to say at Monday’s press conference:
-He said the roster doesn’t need to be overhauled: “I like the guys we have on the roster right now.”
-Running back Damien Williams is “day-to-day” with a shoulder injury, saying he didn’t want to get into specifics of the injury.
-Gase said the Dolphins will likely add a running back.
-Defensive end William Hayes may be out for the season with a back injury. Gase said he would have more information later in the week.
-Quarterback Jay Cutler is still in concussion protocol, and the team will know more about his status today.
-On Senorise Perry’s concussion: “I just know it was two guys running really fast that collided. I just saw the tail end of that. That was a very violent collision.”
