What Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase said on Wednesday

• On Jay Cutler, we had some good games. Wish we could have had some plays back. Would have been interesting to see if we had more time.

• Julius Thomas got through the game but is going to have to go on injured reserve. He got rolled up on early in the game. You’re always going to wish we had more production from every position, especially with where we are at. Julius was a better run blocker than he was when he was with him before in Denver. There weren’t enough good matchups for Thomas.

• The players are aware the playoffs have not been eliminated. I keep telling them to keep playing until they tell you not to.

• We are starting to have better practices from DeVante Parker. Was good to see him win a 50-50 ball last week.

• Reshad Jones has done everything we ask him to do. He has flexibility. He can cover guys one-on-one. He did everything to help the defense be better this year.

• Kansas City is one of his favorite stadiums to go to. It’s hard to hear.

• How can Ndamukong Suh not be a Pro Bowler? He’s double teamed every week. That guy should be penciled in before they start.

• Jermon Bushrod always showed the young guys how to do things the right way. Bushrod is going to have to be shut down for the rest of the season. Eric Smith and Thomas Duarte will be elevated to the active roster.

• Stephone Anthony loves playing. He’s been out there.

• Cameron Malveaux is full-throttle, all the time. When he got on the field, it was because he’s earned it.
