The Miami Dolphins are adding linebacker Terence Garvin, according to a league source.
Garvin, 28, started three games for the Seattle Seahawks last season and has played in 74 career games, mostly on special teams.
Garvin, 6-foot-3, 221 pounds, began his career as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers, after playing at West Virginia.
In December of 2013, Garvin was fined for a massive hit on Bengals punter Kevin Huber that broke Huber’s jaw and vertebra.
NFL Network earlier reported the signing.
