2018 NFL Draft: Top 7 Miami Dolphins mocked draft picks

We’re going to say the most likely scenario is the Miami Dolphins drafting linebacker Roquan Smith or Tremaine Edmunds with the 11th overall pick. But that’s certainly not the consensus. In fact, pretty much nobody else (I chose Smith in my first mock draft) is connecting a linebacker with Miami.

Here are the most common Miami Dolphins draft choices by mock drafters:

  1. Vita Vea, DT, Washington, 7: Daniel Jeremiah (NFL Network), Peter King (MMQB), Rob Rang (NFL Draft Scout), Tony Pauline (Draft Scout), Albert Breer (MMQB), Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News), Pete Prisco (CBS)
  2. Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma, 4: Bucky Brooks (NFL Network), Charley Casserly (NFL Network), Lance Zierlein (NFL.com), Todd McShay (ESPN)
  3. Derwin James, S, Florida State, 2: Sam Farmer (L.A. Times), Mel Kiper (ESPN)
  4. Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming: 1: Charles Davis (NFL Network)
  5. Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville, 1: Chris Trapasso (CBS)
  6. Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State, 1: Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (USA Today)
  7. Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama: 1: Peter Schrager (NFL Network)
