The Dolphins have been in offseason mode for months now, and the on-field portion of that starts in two weeks.

Miami announced today it will start its offseason workout program April 17, and there will be several other sessions throughout May and June. None of the offseason practices or camps are open to the public.

The Dolphins will hold a rookie minicamp the week after the draft, May 5-6, followed by Organized Team Activities May 23-25, May 30-June 1 and June 5-8. The mandatory veterans minicamp is June 13-15. The team typically opens training camp in late July.

The offseason workouts and OTAs are voluntary, per NFL rules under the collective bargaining agreement. No contact is allowed during OTAs.
